WikiReader Now An E-book Reader?

Remember WikiReader? The device that is designed specifically for those who want to read Wikipedia articles when they are spending time on the road. While having access to Wikipedia offline is nice, people want to have the ability to do more with this tiny device. A recent update by Openmoko not only gives WikiReader owners access to the latest Wikipedia updates, it will provide them access to the Project Gutenberg library.
In order to store both Wikipedia and the entire Project Gutenberg library, Wikireader owners will need a large SD card (around 16 GB). This update won’t make Wikireader into a hit, but it does give Wikireader owners more to be cheerful about. The device does seem too small to be used as an e-reader for your long reading sessions.
