txtr Beagle Hits the FCC, Kindle for Windows Phone 8
0The txtr Beagle is a budget-friendly e-book reader. We have been hearing about it for quite some time. It is the smallest e-reader in the world that works with your smartphone to display your content. The device does not have WiFi or a USB port but does take advantage of Bluetooth. The txtr Beagle has now hit the FCC, which means it could be coming to the U.S. soon. It has a 5 inch E-ink screen with 600 x 800 pixel display. No hint on when the device might make it to this side of the world.
Amazon has been offering Kindle for many popular platforms. The app is now available for Window Phone 8. While some users have complained about the new app crashing, it does offer standard features we have come to expect from Kindle apps. You can download it for free from the Windows Phone Store.
