Surface Pro 2 Firmware Improves Battery
0The Surface Pro 2 is not going to be an iPad killer. It is simply a different kind of device that should appeal more to professionals. Battery life has always been an issue for Surface devices. The Surface Pro 2 already offers improvements in that area. But Microsoft has released a firmware that further improves Surface’s battery life. Tests by AnandTech show that the tablet now lasts over 8 hours when browsing over Wi-Fi (up from 6.68). That is still not impressive in comparison to other top tablets. Nevertheless, it is a step in the right direction.
