Pocketbook Color Lux: 8″ Color E-ink eReader

I don’t know about you but I prefer larger e-readers like the Kindle DX to the smaller ones that seem to be quite popular these days. Pocketbook’s new e-reader has potential. It has unveiled a 8″ Color E-ink eReader that takes advantage of Triton 2 E-ink technology. It is a color e-reader with a front-lit screen. The device features an 800MHz Freescale processor with 4 GB of storage and a microSD card slot.

The Color Lux e-reader is going to sell for about $320. The device was demoed in Russia. We don’t know when it will reach Europe or other parts of the world. Will Amazon ever release its own color E-ink e-reader? That’s another question that remains unanswered so far.
