Overdrive Read on the Wii U

Those of you who have borrowed books from libraries in the past have probably heard of Overdrive. The company is known for being a very significant content distribution platform. It is hoping more young folks will borrow digital books in the future. It recently demonstrated its Read HTML5 platform to the good folks at Good E-reader.
The Wii-U by Nintendo may be a gaming device but it does have a HTML5 compatible browser which can handle e-books. Overdrive’s HTML5 application enables owners to read and borrow books on this device. So you can now play and read. What’s not to like?
