New Samsung Display To Top Retina
0Our phones and tablets are getting more powerful every day. The newer models get better processors, more memory, and higher quality displays. Apple iPhone and iPad both have Retina-level displays. That is one of the main reasons they are highly popular among consumers. Samsung is planning to one-up Apple with its new OLED technology. The company claims to have perfected the technique to manufacturer OLED displays that can show 350 pixels per inch. That is much better than the iPhone 4S’s display (326 PPI).
At this point, it is not clear how Samsung will proceed. Will the company release a tablet with this technology? Having a battery that could support such a system without taking away from buyers’ experience would be challenging too. More pixels per inch does lead to cleaner lines. That does not mean Samsung has everything figured out though. It will be interesting where Apple and Samsung both go from here.
