The device has a new display technology with a higher contrast, next generation built-in light, and a speedy processor for faster book opens and page turns. Just like the old Kindle Paperwhite, you are going to have an easy time using your device in bright sunlight. It is lighter than the iPad mini and has a battery that lasts weeks. You also get better touch technology, smart lookup, a vocabulary builder, and Goodreads integration. Kindle FreeTime is also going to be added to the new Kindle Paperwhite.
E-readers are not going to outsell tablets anytime soon. But if you need one with the latest display technology,, the new Kindle Paperwhite is the way to go. These start shipping on September 30.
