New Amazon Kindle Paperwhite with Backlit Display, Kindle Fire w/ 10 Inch Display

We all know that Amazon is going to announce a bunch of new Kindles on September 6th. Multiple Kindle Fire units are expected to be announced (including a 10 inch version). Not surprisingly, the Verge has gotten its hands on exclusive information on these tablets. The site has already published shots of the new Kindle Fire as well as the new E-ink Kindle with backlit display (some are disputing the pictures). The new Kindle Fires seem to be a custom design, so they will have a slightly different look than the previous one. There is not much known about what’s inside them.

Amazon will also be releasing new e-book readers. The new Kindle Touch will have a backlit display. The product does look similar to its predecessor though. It will have a higher resolution display, integrated lighting, and 8 weeks of battery life even when using the light. These new Kindles are not revolutionary by any means but will allow Amazon to play catch up to B&N and is NOOK Simple Touch with GlowLight.
