Microsoft Surface, Google Nexus Behind in Web Traffic
0We have heard a lot about the Microsoft Surface and Google Nexus being iPad killers. They may come with great hardware or attractive prices. But both product families are struggling to gain major market share in web traffic. According to Chitika Insights, only 0.13% of all tablet web traffic came from the Surface. Google’s Nexus 7/10 only accounted for 0.91% of tablet web traffic.
It is no secret that the iPad is the king of the tablet market. That could always change in the future. But the iPad also accounts for the majority of tablet traffic (88% in this report). This means Apple has done a great job putting together the right device and environment combination for web surfacing. Apple is expected to continue the tablet market for the time being. The market could always change quickly though.
