I have to be honest, I have not been following the e-book stores that target Arab readers. But it does seem that folks who are interested in buying Arabic books will be able to do so online now. Kotobi.com is the first webstore that allows customers to purchase and download books online. The store has hundreds of books from 40 publishers.

Shoppers can pay with their credit card and download books on mobile phones and tablets. Not everyone around the world has access to affordable books and education. So this is a good move to promote more reading among Arab readers.
