Kobo Arc Jelly Bean update

Those of you who own a Kobo Arc device should be happy to know that a Jelly Bean update is waiting for you. The update brings swipe-down notifications and Google Now to your device. You also get Project Butter, which aims to make your Android device run faster.

Kobo’s home screen has been tweaked as well. It does handle more like a Nexus now as opposed to Amazon’s Android tablet. Overall, this is a positive move by Kobo. We still prefer the Nexus 7, considering that it will be getting an upgrade soon.
