It makes reading and understanding challenging books easier. Kindle users will also be able to access the books from the Amazon account of a spouse. Your e-reader will also support Kindle FreeTime Unlimited with access to books for kids.

The update also brings expanded x-ray for books, deeper Goodreads integration, better search, About This Book functionality, and more. You can download the update manually or wait for the OTA update.
