Kindle For TouchPad Delay
0HP TouchPad does not have a lot going for it considering the highly limited number of apps available for it. The device was supposed to come pre-loaded with popular apps such as Kindle. That does not seem to be exactly the case. ZDNet reports that the Kindle app on their HP TouchPad does not do a whole lot. It sounds like a place holder for the real app. To be fair, we have not tested HP TouchPad yet, so we can’t verify this story at this point. These types of issues are expected on first generation gadgets.
HP TouchPad did sound like a very good idea on paper. WebOS is a unique platform and does have a lot of potential. Unfortunately, HP did not manage to put the proper ecosystem around its tablet. It is highly unlikely for the first generation HP TouchPad to challenge the top players in the tablet market.
