It is no secret that the Kindle Fire HDX has a beautiful design and a fast processor inside. If you go to Amazon.com, you will see that the Kindle Fire HDX 7″ is not shipping yet. But members of the media have already gotten their hands on test units. Many of them seem to be impressed with the new tablet. Gizmodo suggests that the HDX is superior to the Nexus 7 FHD in many areas. Of course, you don’t get the Google Play Store. But you do get a fast processor, a smooth new OS, and longer battery life.
The folks at GigaOM were also impressed with the new Kindle tablet. But they did hint at the fact the HDX might not be for everyone. The HDX has enough power, content, and apps to serve as your primary tablet. But that depends what you would like to do with your tablet.
