Kindle Fire HDX 8.9 Shipping Early?

Amazon has started shipping the new Kindle Fire HDX 8.9″. When I ordered mine, the delivery date was November 20. But Amazon has already shipped my tablet, and it will be here by the end of tomorrow. The Kindle Fire HDX 8.9” is the only Kindle Fire tablet that I have considered using because it has a brilliant display and offers more versatility. Besides, I have always found 7″ tablets to be too small.
Early reviews for the Kindle Fire HDX 8.9″ have been, in general, positive. The price is a turnoff for some folks considering that the iPad mini costs the same and offers more apps. Then again, your iPad mini won’t run Android apps nor will it have tight integration with Amazon’s content ecosystem. Considering that the new Nexus 10 could debut any day now, things are going to get very interesting in the tablet PC market.
