Kindle Fire 2 Coming as Kindle Fire Goes Out of Stock

The Kindle Fire is officially out of stock. That means you won’t be able to buy one from Amazon until the company releases the next generation Kindle Fire. The Kindle Fire 2, which we reported on yesterday, will be released in 7- and 10-inch flavors. As the leak by the Verge suggests, the new Kindle Fire will have new physical buttons. It does look very similar to the old Kindle but seems to have a camera as well.
The interface does have a bunch of buttons on the side that users will be able to use to control their apps and interact with Android. This is also going to be a content consumption device. So Amazon will have an interface in place optimized for selling things. There isn’t a whole lot more to know about these upcoming Kindle Fire devices. All will be known on September 6th.
