iWorld: 2 New iPad Versions Coming in January?
0We have heard a number of rumors about the future of the iPad. Some have suggested that Apple is interested in introducing smaller iPads. Most these rumors point to February or March as the release month for the next generation iPad. DigiTimes is now reporting that iPad fans may not have to wait too long to get their hands on new Apple tablets. Sources are claiming two new iPad versions will be announced at the iWorld event on January 26th.
The iPad has been challenged by cheap but capable tablets such as the Kindle Fire. Apple plans to combat budget tablets with the new iPads. The company aims to target all segments of the tablet market with budget and premium slate offerings. The new iPad 3 could have a higher resolution display, better cameras, and a faster quad core processor. The battery life is expected to be improved for these devices (going from a 6500m Ah to a 14000 mAh battery).
These are all rumors at this point. We have heard plenty of them in regards to the upcoming iPad 3 product. Apple does need to step up its game to continue dominating the tablet market.
