iRiver E-Reader Hits Japan
0Kindle is one of the hottest gadgets on the market, but we all know about the challenges of owning a Kindle in a foreign country. That’s why we need companies such as iRiver to pick up where Amazon left off and bring the gift of e-book readers to other countries. It’s just that iRiver’s e-book reader doesn’t offer too many Kindle-like features.
The device looks simple but doesn’t exactly look it was designed for heavy reading (more like a big screen mp3 player). It does support PDF but that is not something you can build your device on. iRiver is an innovative company, and I can appreciate their dedication to usability. But iRiver’s reader doesn’t really hold its own against the Kindle.
