iPhone 5 Launch Disappoints, Apple To Still Perform Well
0Apple has become a victim of its past success. The company has sold millions of iPhones, iPads and Macs in the past. In the past few years, Apple has managed to somehow stay ahead of its hungry competitors. After yesterday’s announcement, nothing is changing. But the iPhone 5 is not the clear king among smartphones. In fact, Nokia and Samsung both have devices that could give the new iPhone a run for its money.
In the past few months, we had heard a ton of exciting rumors about the new iPhone. We did get a larger screen and a more sleek design this time around. But the changes are just evolutionary at this point. Many experts found the new iPods more exciting as we had not heard a lot about them. The new iPod Touch is essentially a 4 inch Apple tablet. It may not have iPhone 5’s camera or processor but does offer e-book addicts more space for e-reading. The new iPod nano is perfect for folks who need a device for their audio content.
Apple’s iPhone 5 seems a bit underwhelming. But we shouldn’t forget that the event was ruined by all the leaks that turned out to be accurate. Apple will have to step up to keep up with its other competitors though.
