iPad 3 Coming In March 2012

The iPad is already one of the most popular tablets around. Many of us use it to read our e-books, watch videos, and do all kinds of other neat things on it. It seems we do not have to wait too much longer to play with the iPad 3. Apple is expected to announce the device in the first week of March. iPad 3 units will start shipping a week or so after the event.
Sources close to the matter have suggested that the event will be held in San Francisco. The device is expected to have a more powerful processor (not clear whether it will be quad core one). A retina display is also rumored for this new tablet. Siri integration is part of the plan too. Apple has already started picking apps to showcase on stage and in its advertisements for this device.
The iPad 3 may not be the only Apple tablet we get to see this year. Erza Gottheil of Technology Business Research suggests that a 7 inch version of this tablet may arrive sometime later this year. He claims that Apple will drop the iPad 2’s price to around $400 when the next generation iPad is released. There is no word on when exactly the 7 inch iPads will show up in stores.
