Guessing Amazon’s New Product for 2014

kindle

We have been hearing about Amazon’s Kindle smartphone for a couple of years now. The company has not quite pulled it off, but there are rumors that we could see the device in 2014. In fact, DigiTimes has reported a number of times on this. Let’s not forget about the fact that Amazon could very well release its own set-top box to offer content to Prime or non-Prime customers.

It is a given that we are going to see new Kindle e-readers and tablets in 2014. But how about a game console by Amazon? Could Amazon get involved in wearable computing and release a pair of smart glasses for shoppers? How about an Amazon smartwatch that alerts you when the company is running discounts? In reality, we are most likely to see the Firetube and a Kindle smartphone in 2014. Amazon has grand plans for the future but it can’t get everything done in a year.

What’s your guess?
