Gesture-controlled wearable Myo Open to Developers

We first saw Myo a few weeks back. It is an exciting gizmo you can wear on your arm to control devices with gestures using Bluetooth technology. Myo maker Thalmic Labs is now making the platform available to developer with its APIs. That means developers will be able to come up with app ideas for business, entertainment, and other areas. The armband uses muscle-activity sensors to detect arm and hand gestures.
You can order Myo for $149 but the shipment process will start in 2014. Just think about the possibilities of such a system though. It will be interesting to watch.
