EA Texas Hold em for Kindle Debuts
0We have covered plenty of Kindle games on this site in the past. Kindle games won’t impress you with their 3D graphics or fast-paced action. At the same time, gamers should not need a PS3 or even iPad to play chess, poker, or word games. EA’s latest game is one of the most popular games around. Everybody enjoys playing a round or two of Texas Hold em. Thanks to EA Texas Hold em, you get to do it on your Amazon Kindle.
Unfortunately, Kindle 1 owners won’t be getting a chance to play this game on their device. Those of you who have a compatible Kindle, will get 3 levels of play and 6 unique characters in career mode. It is possible to play this game against friends (even though Amazon has still not figured out Kindle 2 Kindle gaming). The Game Advisor feature is very helpful and can teach beginners a few things. Players can achieve 16 awards, which makes this game more fun.
At this point, Kindle games are all about word, math, and card games. There is so much developers can do to get around Kindle’s software limitations at this point. But Kindle was never supposed to be a gaming device. Let’s hope it stays that way.
