E-ink CST-01: World’s Thinnest Watch
0Most of you who have been following e-readers and tablets for a while are familiar with E-ink and some of its side projects. E-ink’s displays are great for e-readers but the technology has other applications too. E-ink had the chance to demo the CST-01 watch at CES. It is a super thin watch that is being funded through Kickstarter.
The E-ink CST-01 watch has flexible components and is housed in a single piece of stainless steel. The watch does not have any buttons or knobs. Charging and setting the time can be done using the included base station. The micro energy cell that powers this watch can be recharged 10k times and lasts over 15 years. The watch can go for a month per charge.
Overall, this is a thin watch with a long battery life. Interested? You could always back this project on Kickstarter.
