comiXology: in-app Purchasing Removed from iOS App

comiXology users will be sad to know that the comiXology iOS app has lost in-app purchasing. The company is introducing a new app that will act as a comic book reader. You can still make purchases online and download comic books to your iOS device. The move does make sense considering that Apple charges 30% from in-app subscriptions.

comiXology users will still be able to access their old purchases using the restore feature. The service is also giving $5 gift card to those who have made purchases through the platform in the past. Understandably, lots of people are still unhappy with this move.
