Bug In Fire TV Screensaver Eats 80 GB a Day?
0We have been critical of the Fire TV box in the past (mainly its wireless feature). Tech writer Tyler Hayes is now reporting that a bug in Amazon’s Fire TV could blow through your data cap. That is if your internet service provider imposes such caps. Apparently, when a customer uses the “mosaic” feature on the screensaver, images may not be caches. Amazon is working on an update to fix this. However, it recommends customers to turn off the mosaic view to avoid the issue. This is not a deal breaker, but if you have a data cap, you may want to fix this issue before continuing to use your Fire TV.
