3 Best Android e-Book Readers
0The e-reader market has become quite crowded in the past few months. That trend is expected to continue as more companies go for their piece of the pie. Kindle, Sony Reader, and iPad are all great devices. But more e-reader makers are realizing the true power of Android platform. It is growing very fast and has a ton of apps available for download. Best of all, it’s an open source platform. In a matter of few months, there are going to be a whole lot of Android e-readers/tablets available on the market. For now, there are 3 Android e-book readers that are worth picking up:
Nook eBook Reader: needs no introduction. B&N has done a great job promoting nook and getting people interested in this device. nook Lite is cheaper and should get some more attention for the nook family.
Alex: Alex is a unique e-book reader that runs on Android and comes with a color LCD (just like Nook) to help you browse through your content easily. It has a very interesting design, but it’s a bit pricey at this point.
eDGe: it’s an e-book reader and netbook fit all into one device. It can also be used to take digital notes, record audio, and play video. The battery life is not bad either (considering that it has 2 screens).
nook is the top dog in this category of e-readers at this point. But expect this list to be much longer in a matter of few months.
Your turn: which one of the above devices do you own?
