ASUS Eee Reader DR900: Pencil Thin and Touch-Capable
0We heard about ASUS Eee Reader DR900 quite a while ago. It’s a 9 inch e-book reader that is pencil-thin and touch-enabled. In fact, the device is less than 10mm thick. Its SiPix electrophoretic display translates into a decent battery life for this device. DR900 does have a virtual keyboard, which makes navigating through content and entering information on this e-reader more convenient.
Here is a summary of what ASUS Eee Reader DR900 will have to offer:
- 9-inch SiPix electrophoretic display
- capacitive touch-screen with a virtual keyboard
- WebKit-based browser
- WiFi supported. 3G optional
- battery life: 4 days with WiFi on
We have always been a fan of larger screen e-book readers. This one is a tad bit more compact than iPad and Kindle DX. At this point, we don’t know when ASUS Eee Reader DR900 will be released to the market.
Are you impressed with DR900?
