Apple To Target Home Automation At WWDC
0Apple has been working on some exciting things. Tim Cook keeps telling us that. But we have not seen the iWatch, iHDTV, and other fancy products Apple is working on yet. As Financial Times is reporting, Apple may be ready to introduce a home automation platform. It will make it easier to control smart gadgets (e.g. smart lights) automatically using an iOS device.
Details are quite sketchy, but Apple’s home automation system could track your location and predict how close you are to your home and use that information to automate things. The FT report suggests that Apple will open the platform to third party hardware makers. All will be revealed at WWDC.
