Apple Making an iStylus for iPhone & iPad?
0One does not need a stylus to use an iPhone or iPad these days. But Apple could be doing a better job adding stylus support to its touchscreen products. From a recent application to patent, Apple seems to be interested in the idea of bringing optical stylus support to iOS devices in the future. The stylus discussed in the application features haptic feedback, an on-board speaker, and an optical sensor to enhance iOS users’ experience.
an input device capable of generating haptic feedback may help a user navigate content displayed on the display screen, and may further serve to enhance the content of various applications by creating a more appealing and realistic user interface.
This does not mean that Apple will actually release a stylus with the iPad 4 or iPhone 5. Apple could always market such a product as an accessory though. It is highly unlikely for Apple to radically change how the design of its products just for an iStylus.
