Apple Discounting Books Amazon Does Not Stock?

Amazon has been going back and forth with Hachette recently. So it is natural for its competitors to try to use the situation to get ahead. Apple is now promoting popular Hachette titles, some of which were pulled by Amazon. You can find the titles Apple pushing by visiting iTunes > Popular Pre-orders and clicking on the “see all” button. Amazon has not responded to this move yet.
