Developing Story: Amazon Removes Pedophile Guide Book?

Amazon is in hot waters again as a disgusting book seems to have made it to Kindle store with the company failing to catch it. It did not take Fox News and other media sources a whole lot of time to report on the story and start stirring the pot. A lot of Amazon customers seem to be quite upset about this book (for a very good reason). The Pedophile’s Guide to Love and Pleasure should not have made it to Kindle store. It will be used to force Amazon to improve its store’s quality control.

Here is how the author describes this book:

Product Description
This is my attempt to make pedophile situations safer for those juveniles that find themselves involved in them, by establishing certain rules for these adults to follow. I hope to achieve this by appealing to the better nature of pedosexuals, with hope that their doing so will result in less hatred and perhaps liter sentences should they ever be caught.

We believe that while Amazon should do a better job keeping an eye on titles that make it to Kindle store, it is the consumers who are in control. No decent individual would want to read such a book. It is amazing that people complain about this book and threaten to boycott Amazon over it but no one seems to have any issues with Holy Book of Adolf Hitler or similar books.

Amazon Kindle store does need better quality control but it does not need censorship. Let’s hope Amazon does not overreact to this obvious mistake.

Update: as expected, Amazon has removed the controversial book but not before defending its actions first. This was clearly an unnecessary back and forth action when Amazon should have not allowed this controversy to get to this point.
Update 2: not so fast. The link stopped working for a while but now is working again. A lot of confusion. Please stay patient as we try to get a statement from Amazon.com on this.
