You heard that right. No longer do you need a U.S. address to buy a Kindle in Canada. That process was actually pretty unintuitive, and what a better way to Amazon to give Canadians the gift of Kindle by making it possible for them to just order their Kindles with no ifs, ands, and buts. While Amazon is going to use this piece of news to promote Amazon Kindle further, it’s to be noted that many folks have already used their Kindles in Canada. Amazon is just making the process of getting a Kindle much easier.

So this is all good news for the Canadians who have been wondering for months how to buy a Kindle in Canada. Now you can just order your Kindle, and you should be good to go. I have a feeling that Canada can be another killer market for Amazon, and what a better way to boost sales to make the shipping process to Canada less painful. Keep in mind that Amazon has not announced whether this move covers Kindle DX as well. It’s about time Amazon introduced Kindle DX – International, isn’t it?
