Amazon Launching a Free Video Streaming Service

Amazon already offers a ton of free content to its Prime customers. But as the WSJ reports, the company will introduce an advertising-supported streaming TV and music video service. Amazon is expected to offer original and licensed TV content to its free users. Most experts expect Amazon to announce its Apple TV competitor soon. In fact, Amazon is holding a media event on April 2nd to update us all on the state of its video business. Not hard to guess what will be announced during the event (a set-top box or a dongle).
