Amazon Kindle Fire HD 8.9 Has Samsung Roots
0The Amazon Kindle Fire devices are expected to sell well this year. In fact, many experts expect them to outsell the iPad mini and other comparable tablets during the holiday shopping season. The Kindle Fire HD 8.9 is a very exciting device that recently started shipping. The device may have been released under Amazon’s brand name. But it seems to have a Samsung heart. At least, that’s what its teardown shows (by Powerbook Medic).
The Kindle Fire HD seems to be easy to tear down. The device has a K3PF/E700M GKG82497 memory from Samsung with KLMAG2GE4A-A001 flash. The display is made by Samsung as well. The battery has 6000 mAh capacity. The majority of Kindle’s parts are in the back panel, which makes opening and exploring them easier.
Those who think Samsung is somehow in trouble due to its problems with Apple are simply mistaken. As this teardown of the Kindle Fire HD shows, the company is doing well when it comes to selling tablet parts.
