Amazon Gets Education Startup TenMarks

Amazon has worked very hard to create a powerful content ecosystem for its customers. It has just acquired TenMarks, which happens to be an education startup. The startup was all about helping students learn math. This signals the fact that Amazon is serious in further building its educational content. Content like this could certainly make the Kindle more attractive to schools.

Amazon is not the only company targeting students and schools. Apple and a few other companies are players in this industry. Let’s just say more acquisitions like this will be on the agenda for Amazon in the upcoming years.
