Amazon Firetube Delayed

Amazon is not done making “Fire” products. We have already seen the new Kindle Fire devices. A Fire phone could be in the works with HTC. Not surprisingly, Amazon is also planning to release its own set-top box. The device will compete with Apple TV and Google Chromecast. It will surely be aggressively priced.
The Firetube is expected to run Fire OS. The device was expected to be here for the holiday season. The Verge is now reporting that might not happen. It will be interesting to see how Amazon differentiates its set-top box from a few others that are dominating this market.
