Amazon Developing 300 PPI Kindle Paperwhite?
0There is no question that the new Kindle Paperwhite is one of the best e-book readers on the market. It has almost everything one would need to read books. So where does Amazon go from here? It can’t just stop innovating. TechCrunch is now reporting that it has seen a prototype of a next generation Kindle Paperwhite, which happens to have a glass screen, a more angular design, and higher resolution display.
Codenamed Ice Wine, the new Kindle will have a 300 PPI display. It will have physical controls of some sort. The new device could also have a light sensor to automatically adjust display brightness. No word on whether the Kindle DX will get an upgrade.
