Apple Looking at $500m for Price Fixing

Price fixing doesn’t pay. In case of Apple, it might cost the company as high as $500m. It seems what Apple won against Samsung is going to disappear fast now. By looking at the amounts paid by other publishers that have admitted their guilt in this price fixing scheme, Apple does not have a whole lot to be optimistic about. GigaOM has published a chart that estimates what Apple might have to pay. This is going to be a tough pill to swallow for Apple and its fans but the company played its cards wrong. Now it pays big time.
