Sony’s 13.3-inch Digital Paper Device Surfaces

It is no secret that Sony is working on a 13.3 inch digital paper device with an E-ink’s Mobius flexible display. The idea is being tested at Japanese universities. But could we see this device in this side of the world? While it has a 13.3 inch display, it does not weigh a whole lot. The device has an on-board digitizer, so users can go through their notes conveniently.
While tablets are a lot more popular than e-readers in this side of the world, a product like this might be attractive to college students (as long as it does not cost a fortune). For now all we can do is wait.
