With the launch of Kindle FreeTime Unlimited, Amazon has made the device even more kid-friendly. The service gives kids access to thousands of books, games, apps, and video content. Families with one child will only have to spend $4.99 a month for this service ($2.99 with Prime subscription). Have less than 6 kids? This service will cost you $9.99.
Every new Kindle Fire comes with one month free trial of Kindle FreeTime Unlimited. With Kindle FreeTime, parents can create up to 6 individual child profiles and choose from their own collection of content. Screen time can be limited for kids too. Speaking of new products by Amazon, the company has updated its Kindle app for iOS to offer X-Ray for books. It helps you learn more about notable characters, places, and phrases in your books with descriptions provided from Shelfari and Wikipedia. Manga image rendering has been improved as well. The free update is available for download on the App Store.
