Advancements in Science and technology have helped our civilization reach new heights. In this day and age, one can’t afford to be scientifically illiterate. The good news is there are plenty of free and premium courses and material available for those who want to learn more about sci & tech. These 5 iPad apps could also teach you a thing or two about science:

Brian Cox’s Wonders of the Universe: this awesome iPad application provides you with a breathtaking 3D tour of our universe. It covers small particles and large objects.

Pocket Universe: a powerful iOS application that teaches you a thing or two about astronomy. It displays 85,000 stars and the Messier Catalog of Deep Sky objects. It also plots the position of the sun, moon, and planets. Its augmented reality feature is a plus.

The Elements: one of the best chemistry applications we have tested. It is not only a reference app for the elements but it also provides you with an interactive viewing experience. It has more than 500 high resolution, rotatable objects.

Nova: another application that provides you with an interactive view of the periodic table of elements.

Spacecraft 3D: an augmented reality application that teaches you about the spacecraft that are used to explore our solar system. You can use this to learn more about their movement and much more.

Which one of these apps are you impressed with the most?
