Kid Friendly LeapPad 2 Tablet Debuts
1Kids need their own tablets too. There are plenty of games and apps available that parents can take advantage of to entertain their kids and help with their development. Unfortunately, not all tablets are designed to be kid friendly. Besides, mistreating a premium tablet such as the Samsung Galaxy Tab or iPad is not a great idea anyway. Investing in a device such as the LeapPad may be a good idea for parents.
The LeapPad 2 is aimed toward children aged three to nine years old. It can be used using a stylus or fingers. It will ship with 5 apps: Pet Pad, Cartoon Director, LeapFrog Learning Songs and Art Studio. Parents have the option to by more content from the LeapFrog App Center. The device is not a high-end tablet by any means. It does have 4GB of memory and a 5 inch screen. The resolution is 480 * 272 pixels. The 550 MHz is not the fasted but should do for kids.
The LeapPad2 bundles go for as low as $129. These could prove useful as learning tools for very young children.
