The Kindle Fire version 6.3 release introduces a whole host of new features to improve the capabilities of these budget tablets. For starters, you now can share your favorite passages with the world without having to leave your book. Just highlight a passage, select share, and choose where you want to share it.
The new Kindle Fire software also taps into Amazon’s Shelfari service with Book Extras, which includes extra information on books. This feature will provide readers with supplemental material about the book they are reading without them having to leave it. Kindle Fire owners now get to store their personal documents in the Amazon Cloud for their convenience.
This update makes the Kindle Fire more student friendly. Students can now buy thousands of print replica textbooks to read on their device and save some money in the process.
