B&N Allows More Personal Content on NOOK Tablets
0The B&N NOOK Tablet is an exciting e-reader. It is more than decent as a tablet and can serve as your e-reader easily. The 16 GB version has plenty of space for apps and your content. But only 1 GB of it was available for side-loaded content in the past. Now B&N is allowing NOOK Tablet owners to store more personal content on their device. Starting this week, you can take your tablet to any Barnes & Noble bookstore to repartition its memory. You can also expand your NOOK’s memory using a microSD card.
The repartitioning process is not complicated and will allow storage of 8 GB of content on these tablets. B&N probably should have partitioned storage on these tablets the right way a long time ago. But it is making it right at this time. You will still have 5.5 GB of storage for B&N content. Speaking of updates, B&N has upgraded the NOOK app for Android too. The shop has been improved. The app provides support for comics too. These are exciting developments if you are a NOOK Tablet owner.
