Kindle 2.0 Too Fragile?
0A few days ago, I wrote a post about whether you should consider getting a protection plan for your Kindle 2.0 or pray to God that it doesn’t break on you. But it seems Kindle 2.0 is more fragile that we thought it was. Numerous testers have reported damaged Kindles after only hours of use. Now a lot of these guys have dropped their device or broke their Kindle by some accident, but just because it happened to them doesn’t mean it won’t happen to you.
I know the guys at Amazon will claim that the device is not fragile. I don’t question their motives. The device is solid enough. But take a look at the above picture. Even if Kindle 2.0 is made of steel, there is still a good chance you can break such a thin gadget (with an even more fragile screen). Should you get extended warranty for your Kindle? If you haven’t already, you don’t have much time. With the warranty you can protect yourself against freak Kindle accidents. But don’t treat your Kindle like a paper book. It’s more fragile, and you will break it! It’s not that hard, trust me!
