Amazon’s TV Streaming Device Predictions

Amazon is finally going to announce its Roku and Apple TV competitor, and we can’t wait. Those devices are great, but it’s about time Amazon got more involved in this market. As far as we can tell, the device will run a forked version of Android. It will allow you to watch Amazon’s Prime Instant videos. It should also include third party apps like Netflix, Hulu, and other big players.

Most experts expect the device to have a design like Roku set-top boxes. The device will have dual-band WiFi and a USB port. Whether Amazon will release a dongle is not confirmed at this point. We expect Amazon to be aggressive with its pricing strategy. All will be revealed in a couple of hours.
