North American Android Web Traffic: Samsung Rises
0iOS devices have been dominating mobile web traffic for years. But Android is catching up with people buying more Android devices these days. According to Chitika, Samsung is dominating the overall Android usage share. With a 55.5% share of all North American Android-based Web traffic, Samsung’s share has grown over 8 percent in comparison to data from last July. Amazon, Motorola, and HTC have seen their shares drop.
It will be interesting to see how Amazon and Samsung will fare in a year. Amazon has been pushing its Android tablets hard. Will that lead to a higher share in web traffic in the future? That remains to be seen.
