Digg Reader Has a Chrome Extension

The Digg Reader was supposed to be a good alternative to Google Reader. While it has not fulfilled that potential yet, the developers behind it are improving the service regularly. Digg has now released a Chrome extension that tells you how many unread items you have and lets you view your updates in a new tab.
Digg Readers users now have the ability to add the website they are viewing with a single click. The extension is available on the Chrome Web Store already.
